Life & Times of Superstar Rajesh Khanna

The Luxury Chronicle celebrated the iconic superstar Rajesh Khanna with a high profile event around the book ‘Dark Star – Loneliness of Being Rajesh Khanna’ by Gautam Chintamani, published by Harper Collins. The by-Invitation-Only event was held at The Lalit New Delhi on the 8th September, 2016.

The event started on time, with eminent panelists Sonal Kalra, Suhel Seth, Anjana Kuthiala, Naina Balsavar Ahmad, actor Sushma Seth and the author Gautam Chintamani engaging in a lively discussion about Rajesh Khanna. Mrs Ratan Kaul, Executive Partner (Events) of The Luxury Chronicle felicitated the VIPs. Partho Dey, Chairman Anuraj Multi State Urban Co-operative Credit Society Ltd felicitated Hon’ble Minister Somnath Bharti.

The event was attended by eminent personalities and the glitterati of Delhi. The event was curated by the top hospitality executive of India, Shalini Arora Kocchar, an interior-design graduate and a jewelry designer. Rajesh Khanna’s leading heroines, represented by fourteen high profile ladies, each of whom is herself a star. These were Malvika Kaura, Nupur Kundu, Shahana Mookherji, Preei Ghai, Mallika Jain, Vandana Krishna, Sunaina Chibber, Neha Gaurav Chopra, Nidhi Sharma Chadda, Deepa Arora, Anushka Tugnait. Designer Vidushi Gulati’s label Var-Shi created the apparel and Aashmeen Munjaal’s Star Salon n Academy did the hair and makeup. DJ JV contributed the music.
