Madhya Pradesh reshuffles IAS officers across key departments

Bhopal, June 17 (IANS) In a significant administrative overhaul, the Madhya Pradesh government has announced a comprehensive reshuffle of senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, reassigning them to key positions across various departments.

The orders, issued by the General Administration Department, involve temporary postings with immediate effect until further orders.

Mukesh Chand Gupta (1998 batch) has been appointed Principal Secretary of the Jail Department while retaining additional charge as Member of the Revenue Board, Gwalior.

Dr E. Ramesh Kumar (1999 batch), previously handling multiple social welfare portfolios, has been posted as Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department and assigned additional responsibilities as Relief Commissioner, Rehabilitation Commissioner, Principal Secretary of the Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Department, and Principal Secretary of the Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes Department.

Vivek Kumar Porwal (2000 batch) has been transferred as Principal Secretary of the Mineral Resources Department.

Sanjeev Singh (2005 batch), former Commissioner of Bhopal Division, has taken over as Secretary of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department.

Babu Singh Jamod (2006 batch), who was Commissioner of Rewa Division, has been appointed Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department.

Deepak Singh (2007 batch) has been appointed Commissioner-cum-Registrar of Cooperative Societies.

Alok Kumar Singh (2008 batch) has been posted as Inspector General of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps.

Amit Tomar (2009 batch) has been appointed Managing Director of the Energy Development Corporation with additional charge as Commissioner of New and Renewable Energy.

Satendra Singh (2009 batch) has received multiple key assignments, including Commissioner-cum-Director of Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Commissioner of Scheduled Castes Development, and Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (additional charge).

Karmveer Sharma (2010 batch) has been appointed Commissioner of Bhopal Division.

Bhaskar Lakkar (2010 batch) has been posted as Commissioner-cum-Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, along with additional charge as Secretary of the Food Department.

Dinesh Shrivastava (2010 batch) has been posted as Joint Secretary-cum-Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission.

Shailendra Singh (2010 batch) has been appointed Commissioner of Rewa Division.

Saurav Kumar Suman (2011 batch) has been posted as Joint Commissioner-cum-Director of Horticulture and Food Processing.

Neha Markha Singh (2011 batch) has received a major cluster of responsibilities as Director of Tribal Area Development Schemes, Managing Director of MAPCET, Managing Director of the Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation, and Director of the Tribal Research and Development Institute (additional charge).

Manoj Pushp (2011 batch) has been posted as Director of Public Health and Family Welfare with additional charge as Controller of Food and Drug Administration.

Preeti Jain (2011 batch) has been appointed Joint Commissioner (Litigation and Coordination), Indore.

Rohit Singh (2012 batch) has been appointed Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation with additional charge as Additional Secretary of School Education.

Harshika Singh (2012 batch) has been appointed Director of Budget.

Bharti Jatav Ogre (2012 batch) has been posted as Additional Secretary of the School Education Department.

Amanbir Singh Bais (2013 batch) has been assigned as Joint Commissioner-cum-Additional Commissioner of Treasury and Accounts with additional charge as Additional Secretary of Finance.

Kailash Wankhede (2013 batch) has been appointed Additional Secretary of the Energy Department.

Amar Bahadur Singh (2013 batch) has been posted as Additional Secretary of the Tribal Affairs Department.

Pawan Kumar Jain (2013 batch) has been appointed Deputy Secretary of the Cooperation Department.

Rani Batad (2014 batch) has been appointed Deputy Secretary of the Labour Department with additional charges related to building and construction workers’ welfare.

Vinay Nigam (2014 batch) has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM).

Manjusha Vikrant Rai (2016 batch) has been posted as Deputy Secretary of the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department.

Shaili Kanash (2019 batch) has been appointed Divisional Secretary of the Secondary Education Board, Indore.

Arvind Kumar Shah (2021 batch) has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ayushman Bharat.

Additional charges have also been assigned to senior officers.

K.C. Gupta (1992 batch) has been given additional responsibility as Agriculture Production Commissioner.

Sonia Meena, IAS (2013), Additional Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, has been assigned the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Director, Institutional Finance, on an interim basis until further orders, in addition to her current responsibilities.

Aniruddha Mukherjee (1993 batch) has received additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary of the Environment Department, Environment Commissioner, and Director General of ECO.

Gulshan Bamra (1997 batch) has been given additional charge of the Scheduled Castes Welfare Department.
