Mahua Moitra flashes her Louis Vuitton bag during the inflation debate in LS

New Delhi, 3rd August 2022: A video of TMC MP Mahua Moitra putting her Louis Vuitton bag worth Lakhs under the table during a debate on “Price rise” in the Lok Sabha has gone viral on Social Media.

Moitra was seen taking her bag from next to her and placing it under the table while Trinamool’s Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar was speaking on Price rise.

According to sources, it was a Louis Vuitton bag worth around Rs. 1.5-2 lakhs. Meanwhile, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar bit into raw brinjal she brought with her on Monday and wondered if the government wants “us to eat raw” vegetables.

As opposition members questioned the government’s seriousness in addressing the problem of inflation, Dastidar stated that those who received a cylinder under the Ujjwala scheme do not have enough money to refill it.

She said she sometimes wonders if “Government Bahadur wants us to eat Raw” vegetables and bit into Brinjal, which amused the MPs, including those from her own party. “The prices of LPG cylinder have been raised four times in the last few months from 600/- to 1100/-, she said.”
