Speaking at launch event, exclusively to Tennews, he shared his views and thoughts about Make in India initiative.
TN: What do you think about Make in India initiative of PM Modi and how did you contribute to it?
AV: I think it’s an revolution for the smartphone industry of India, PM Modi has a fresh vision and our A1 smartphone is the latest contribution to it. I also feel that, Make in India provided more jobs to Indian people.
Also, provided a boost to digital medium in a shorter period of time. A1 smartphone is totally made in India.
TN: What’s your thoughts about Nokia’ comeback?
AV: I must say, we have to definitely watch nokia’s arrival, we can’t ignore the brand Nokia. It would be a tough competition for us in the offline market.
TN: What’s your strategy for future?
AV: We are coming up with seven new smartphones, exclusively in upper segment and also with some innovative products. Also depends on the marketing atmosphere and environment.
