Man killed, 3 injured while welding tank in UP

Barabanki (UP), Aug 24 (PTI) A 48-year-old man was killed and three others injured when they were electrocuted while welding a water tank in Ramnagar area here, police said today.

The victim, Chandrashekhar Prasad, was electrocuted last evening when he was welding the tank belonging to the Water Works Department in Byapur Tilwari village, they said.

Prasad’s son, Chandan and two other persons were injured in the incident and were discharged after first aid, they said.

The body has been sent for postmortem, they added.
