MCD Polls- Congress releases part-II of manifesto, focussing on parking management.

In accordance with principles of Bhagidari, Congress ruled MCD will engage with elected RWAs for parking solutions in residential colonies. Proper guidelines will be formulated based on which the RWAs will be entrusted with parking management within their colonies and will be authorized to identify and carmark parking slots in their colonies, told Ajay Maken during the release of manifesto-II in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Within thirty days of assuming office, the Congress will issue, The MCD Right of Citizen to Time Bound Delivery of Service Charter, on the lines of the Time Bound Delivery of Services law enacted by the Delhi Government in 2011.

Congress led MCDs will completely exempt self-occupied residential properties from the ambit of house tax, Maken added.
