Metro to run till 10pm on Diwali

After the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) decided to revise the timings of the last train service on Diwali (October 23), from the initial 8pm to 10pm, Rapid Metro too announced that it would operate as on normal days.

On Tuesday, Rapid Metro had announced that its last train would leave from Sikanderpur at 9.30pm on Thursday. This, however, stands cancelled. The DMRC on Wednesday announced that it would be operational till 10pm on Diwali. The move came after it anticipated heavy footfall on the festival day.
