MHA extends Covid-19 surveillance up to Jan 31, demarcation of containment zones to continue

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has once again extend ed the earlier guidelines for Covid-19 surveillance to remain in force up to 31st January 2021.

As per MHA directives, Containment zones will continue to be demarcated carefully and prescribed containment measures strictly followed within these zones.

It has also said that Covid-19-appropriate behaviour will be promoted and strictly enforced.

MHA directive also noted that there has been a continuous decline in the active and new Covid-19 cases, there is need to maintain surveillance, containment and caution, keeping in view the surge in cases globally, and the emergence of a new variant of the virus in the United Kingdom.
