#Microsoft plans to make mobile phones in #India

NEW DELHI: Microsoft is considering options to manufacture handsets in India after the government made it more expensive to import mobile phones, a top official said, adding that the US company wants to remain competitive in the fast-growing market, where it has begun rebranding stores following the acquisition of Nokia’s device business.
