Millie Bobby Brown talks about her greatest struggle filming ‘Enola Holmes 3’ in Malta

Los Angeles, July 1 (IANS) Hollywood actress Millie Bobby Brown has shed light on the greatest struggle she faced while filming ‘Enola Holmes 3’, and it had nothing to do with solving mysteries.

The actress revealed that shooting the latest installment of Netflix’s franchise in Malta came with one major obstacle, the intense heat, reports ‘People’ magazine.

She appeared on the latest episode of the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, as she said, “It was hot and being in that clothing, it was not Malta-friendly”.

Enola Holmes 3 sees Brown reprise her role as Sherlock Holmes’ younger sister, the clever detective whose latest adventure takes her to Malta for a new mystery.

As per ‘People’, the star-studded cast includes Brown, Louis Partridge, Helena Bonham Carter, Henry Cavill, who is reprising his role as Sherlock, and Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson. Brown said the temperature became so overwhelming that she found herself advocating for everyone working on set.

She shared, “I had to have a serious sit-down with production about bringing in more fans and air conditioning tents for the crew. Basically my sole job for two months was keeping the crew and cast cool”.

She also said that it was so hot that it was difficult to stay focused while filming. She went on, “It’s like when I filmed ‘Stranger Things’ season 4 in New Mexico. We were filming in the desert, and I’m trying to focus, but I can’t keep my eyes open because the sun and the sand was so bright. There’s so many added environment-like issues that you can face on set that you’d never think to an audience eye”.

The actress joked that viewers may have a new appreciation for what went into making the film.
