Mmerit list of Chaudhary Charan Singh University CCSU could not be released

Meerut: The merit list of Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) could not be released even two days after the registration process for various programmes of the varsity closed. While the university officials had earlier claimed that the merit list would be out on June 28, it did not happen as the date for registration was extended till June 29.

While candidates kept waiting for the list on the CCSU website, officials said the list was delayed since many candidates had made mistakes in filling up their vocational course applications. Dr Prashant Kumar, CCSU has stated that there are 30,000-35,000 applications which have wrong details of vocational courses filled up by the candidates. The system could not retrieve them, we are now checking each application individually. Hence, it is taking time.
