Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was today in India to lay the foundation of Samsung’s new unit. This mobile manufacturing unit will double the production capacity of current Noida plant.
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “Samsung has today organized this groundbreaking ceremony in a traditional India way and this proves that they are not only Making in India but also propagating Indian culture”.
He further said, “42 Mobile manufacturing and 30 component manufacturing units have come in India in last three years”.
Ravi Shankar Prasad also said,”This Samsung expanded unit itself is going to manufacture 120 million crore mobile units in India. I am also very much impressed with pro-active measures that UP government is taking to encourage industries in the state”.
He also said, “India story is unfolding itself. India is soon going to be a win-win scenario for all the investors and the country’s economy. India has both investment opportunities as well as human resources and now with a supportive government we are sure we will excel in all the fields”.
