Mothers’ day celebrated at DPS Ballabgarh

DPS Ballabgarh celebrated ‘Mothers Day’ with fervor and enthusiasm. Mother is the first teacher of a child. She is an institute herself. DPS Ballabgarh salutes to all the To realize the mothers, their importance in a child’s life and the nation as well, ‘Mother’s Day’ was celebrated n the school’s precincts with the active participation of the mothers and their children as well. All the members of DPS Ballabgarh were present on this auspicious occasion. Special cultural programme was organized for the mothers that began with the lightning of the lamp by the Headmistress Ms. Purnyma. Various dance performances were presented by the students to show case their love and regards to their mothers. All the guests were overwhelmed to see the zeal of the students. The Headmistress of the school welcomed all the parents and shed light on the pivotal role of a mother, who gives immeasurable care and happiness to the child.

She said that the role of a mother is very important in shaping the growth, personality and upbringing of a child. She saluted to all the mothers to make the life of their children very special. She motivated the mothers to various competitions which were organized to add more colours to the occasion. They participated in various competitions i.e. cooking without fire, Rangoli, Mehandi, Tambola, Dance and musical chair with great enthusiasm and zeal to win for the sake of their children. All the winners were felicitated by the headmistress of the school.
