MP by-poll: Forgery in voter list, DM transfered

New Delhi: Chief Electoral Officer of Madhya Pradesh Saleena Singh said on Wednesday several cases of forgery have been reported from Congress and BJP in this regard and district collector has been transferred.

“From Congress we received 36 complaints pertaining to Mungaoli and 17 from Kolaras, from BJP total of 35-36 complaints. There are cases where one name appeared 2-3 times in voter list, in list for Mungaoli 1 photo has been used for 5-6 people, ones who have died/shifted, their names are also there. Issues are being worked on and collector has been transferred,” said Chief Electoral Officer, MP.
