MSME Exporters Raise Key Industry Concerns in Meeting with Union MSME Ministry

New Delhi, May 8, 2026: Representatives from the MSME export sector led by Rajiv Bansal . Dr Khushboo Singh and others met Danish Ashraf Joint Development Commissioner at Kartavya Bhavan 3 to discuss various operational and policy-related challenges affecting MSME exporters across the country.
During the interaction, industry representatives highlighted several pressing concerns related to export operations, compliance requirements, procedural bottlenecks, logistics issues, delayed processes, and the overall business environment impacting small and medium exporters. The delegation emphasized the need for greater ease of doing business, simplified compliance mechanisms, and improved policy support to strengthen India’s MSME export ecosystem.
The meeting also focused on the practical difficulties faced by exporters in maintaining competitiveness in international markets amid rising operational costs and regulatory complexities.
Danish Ashraf patiently heard the concerns raised by the participants and appreciated the industry feedback shared during the discussion. He assured the delegation that the issues highlighted would be examined appropriately and that efforts would be made to address matters concerning MSME exporters.
The discussion was held in a positive and constructive atmosphere and reflected the importance of regular dialogue between industry stakeholders and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to promote exports, strengthen MSMEs, and enhance India’s ease of doing business framework.
Industry representatives described the meeting as productive and expressed hope that continued engagement with policymakers would help resolve long-pending issues faced by MSME exporters.
