Mumbai Terror Attack Anniversary: Nation pays tribute, remembers brave martyrs

New Delhi 26/11/2018: Today marks a very sad day for an Indian and specially to those who were related to the victims held on this day.

26/11 was a horrible incident happened ten years ago in which Lashkar e Taiba a Pakistani terror group targeted and attacked several places in Mumbai including the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station, Nariman House and Leopold Café.

The attack which wass coordinated by Lashkar terrorists and lasted three days, killed 166 people and injured nearly 300 people.

The attack was carried out by bomb explosions and hundreds of gun shots firing.

People were kept hostages for about 60 hours and many of them were brutally killed by the terrorists.

Security forces and Mumbai police fought bravely and lost nearly dozen of their brave officers during the attack.

Ajmal Kasab one of the 10 terrorist who wad sent by the Lashkar group from Pakistan was the sole attacker who was caught in a living state, told the authorities about the planning of the attacks.

Later, Ajmal Kasab was hanged in the Yerwada Jail in 2012.

Today the whole nation mourns the death of the innocent people and the brave police officers.
