Murli Manohar Joshi, says Vedic principles, integral to solving the problems of any country of the world. The historic 3-day International Conference to Re-Establish Ideal Vedic India, Light house of peace, progress & prosperity, started today at the Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

The conference which commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the recitation of Vedas, was graced by the auspicious presence of His Holiness Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Maharaj, Bhagawan Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math. Shankaracharya ji congratulated the Foundation for Vedic India and Maharishi Veda Vyas Pratishthan for trying to re-establish Vedic India all across the world on the grounds of scientific reality and promised to try and take it forward so that it goes outside India and the light is spread everywhere. He said, “It’s time to stop seeing life from a narrow angle and instead broaden it because this is Brahma, this is reality.

Veda is for humanity and to reach the state of Vedoham – ‘I am the Veda’, the fusion of the body and universe is vital.” The keynote speaker, Professor Tony Nader, M.D. Ph.D- Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Ram, one of the leading neuroscientists, authors, researchers and presently, the President of Maharishi Vedic Universities, Maharishi Universities of Management & Maharishi Open University, presented the scientic reality of Vedas by extensively elaborating on the contributions of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Vedic Science & Technology.

The chief guest for the occasion, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, Former Minister of Human Resource of India, emphasized the need for further research in Vedas which being an infinite source of knowledge, is co-terminus with the creation of the universe. He recited the Vedic principles, integral to solving the problems of any country of the world, providing for the principle of democracy, the principle of secularism, the importance of discourse to come to reality and the principle of unity and diversity. He further added that, ‘India has the mediums to explore all aspects of Vedas to understand it in totality to get a wholistic picture.’
