My editorial comment is echoed in Hindustan Times 16th Dug.. Karan Thapar has, even,, drafted Narendra Modi’s speech. My objection is its too long and he does not suggest where he should speak. My brief speech is thus:
“My fellow members,
Greetings. We are here. because we had to. I hope such circumstances do not come up again forcing a joint session again. Our Parliamentary sessions must always be productive. Our voters can expect this of us.
We must oppose corruption, black money. Your government will always fight this two.scourges. Please join our efforts. Lalit Mood will be booked. You can see how seriously we are investigating all charges against him. We can claim we have done more.work in one year than it was done in the five earlier years with respect to the scam relating to him No one in my Government and party is helping him.
