My Heart Soars with Pride: Mahesh Bhatt in Alia’s Bollywood debut

In the midst of the wonderful news, Alia’s father, film director Mahesh Bhatt, recently spoke out about his daughter’s next film and her achievements.

Mahesh Bhatt, an Indian film producer, spoke exclusively to ETimes about his daughter Alia Bhatt’s Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone. The 74-year-old producer expressed his joy, saying, “My heart soars with pride when I see her standing with the who’s who of international players like Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.”

He further added, “To stand there without being pygmied by the idea that it is Hollywood, the young today don’t feel slighted or lesser in any way when it comes to International talent.”

The filmmaker praised Alia and praised her confidence. When asked about her self-assurance, Bhatt recalled an occasion and shared an incident.

Mahesh Bhatt claimed that he once asked the ‘Brahmastra’ actress what Hollywood has that India does not. He shared his daughter Alia’s funny answer. According to the producer, Alia Bhatt boldly stated that ‘money’ is something Hollywood possesses.
