The decision of Prime Minister Modi to speak only in Hindi in his visits to Japan , US and to Russia is uplifting news. Sixty-seven years after our Independence our Head of Government has announced himself in forthright terms abroad. Our Chief Ministers must also speak in the language of their State both in their State and when they visit Delhi. Language fosters bonds and inculcates pride.
