Greater Noida/ Delhi NCR 21st July, 2023 – The 56th edition of one of the world’s largest handicrafts fairs i.e. IHGF-Delhi fair Autumn and Furniture Fair, 2023 will be held from 12-16 October, 2023. All stakeholders – participants and visitors have been eagerly waiting to expand business through this mega sourcing platform. The fair is open to overseas buyers, buying and sourcing professionals as well as large domestic volume retail buyers at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.

Naresh Bothra has been nominated as President, IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn and Furniture Fair Reception Committee’2023 during the fair committee meeting held today to share his vast experience to successfully organise the 56th edition of the fair informed R.K. Verma, Executive Director-EPCH.

Naresh Bothra, is a management graduate and prominent handicraft exporter from Jodhpur, Rajasthan since 1994 years and is representing M/s Bothra International. He has been exporting to more than 30 countries across the globe. He has been a member of various committees and has received many awards for his contribution to the export promotion. He is also the President, Jodhpur Handicrafts Exporters Federation (JHEF) and is Chairman of Bodhi International School, informed Dileep Baid, Chairman-EPCH.

Speaking on the occasion, Naresh Bothra informed that the five day fair will brings home, lifestyle, fashion, textiles and furniture products by 3000 including permanent marts of handicrafts exporters from across the country under one roof. Bothra further said, the fair is one of its kind and this edition will have a wide ranging selection of 2000+ new products and 300+ design expressions spanning across 14 product categories such as houseware, home furnishing, furniture, gifts and decoratives, lamps and lighting, Christmas & festive décor, fashion jewellery & accessories, spa & wellness, carpets and rugs, bathroom accessories, garden accessories, educational toys & games, handmade paper products & stationery and leather bags. The exhibition will have emphatic representation of craft manufacturing hubs and clusters.

R. K. Verma, Executive Director-EPCH further informed that Naresh Bothra with his wide experience and knowledge would further strengthen this world renowned IHGF Delhi fair from his valuable inputs and would result in organization of a successful 56th edition IHGF Delhi fair.

Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts is a nodal agency for promotion of exports of handicrafts from the Country and create brand image of magic of the gifted hands of millions of artisans and crafts persons engaged in production of home, lifestyle, textiles, furniture and fashion jewellery & accessories products in different craft clusters of the Country. The overall Handicrafts exports during the year 2022-23 was Rs. 30,019.24 Crores (US $ 3,728.47 Million) informed by R. K. Verma, Executive Director, EPCH.
