TWO DRUG ADDICTS ARRESTED FOR COMMITTING HOUSE THEFT.

ONE STOLEN GOLD CHAIN & 14 RINGS WORTH RS. 3 LAC, 4 MOBILE PHONES, CASH RS. 2000/-, LADIES PURSE, ATM CARDS, ETC. RECOVERED.

Crime Branch have arrested two thieves namely Ashish (25 yrs) s/o Jagrup Singh r/o New Prabhu Nagar, Mirch Mandi, Sonepat and Manoj (31 yrs) s/o Chunni Lal r/o Sardar Colony, Sector-16, Rohini, Delhi for committing house theft in the area of PS KN Katju. The stolen gold chain with locket, 14 gold rings and 4 mobile phones, cash Rs.2000/-, ladies purse, Voter ID, ATM cards have been recovered from their possession.

INCIDENT, TEAM AND OPERATION: –

On 06.08.15, it was reported by a resident of Sec-16, Rohini that when she got up in the morning at about 10.45 am, she found that someone has stolen one gold chain with locket, 14 gold rings, four mobile phones, cash Rs. 50,000/-, ladies purse, Voter ID, PAN card and ATM cards from her house. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 809/15 dated 6.08.15 u/s 380 IPC was registered at PS KN Katju Marg, Delhi.

On 21.8.15, secret information was received that the accused involved in the case would come near Hardi Farm House, Badli Industrial Area, Siraspur Road in a Santro Car bearing registration No. HR-10V-1490 alongwith stolen jewellery and other articles. Accordingly, a team of Northern Range led by DCP Dinesh Kumar Gupta, consisting of ACP N.K. Meena, Inspr. Ravinder Verma, SI Baljeet Singh, HCs Ram Pal, Manish, Cts. Sonu and Amit Kumar was constituted under the supervision of Addl.CP Alok Kumar was constituted to nab the criminals. A trap was laid and both the accused persons were apprehended.

INTERROGATION:-

During sustained interrogation, it was revealed that the victim runs a beauty parlour in Sec-17, Rohini and both the accused persons were known to her for last few months. They used to come to her house. On 06.08.15, in the morning they reached the house of the victim to meet her, where the house was found open and she was sleeping. Her purse containing, jewellery, cash, mobile phone, ID cards were lying near her bed. They seized the opportunity and decamped with the purse.

PROFILE: –

Accused Ashish is a resident of Sonepat and has studied upto 12^th standard. His father is a pharmacist. He has two children and is presently unemployed. He is a drug addict and previously involved in case FIR No.368/14 u/s 160 IPC, PS City Sonepat, Haryana.

Accused Manoj is a resident of Sonepat and living in Delhi temporarily. His father is a property dealer. He has deserted her wife. He had suffered huge loss in betting 3 years ago. He is also a drug addict and presently unemployed. Earlier, he was involved in a case of PS City Sonepat under Arms Act.
