Today on the occasion of Shaheed Rajguru Jayanti, the students wing of the Aam Aadmi Party held a #Tiranga March in the #Delhi University campus

On the occasion of Shaheed Rajguru Jayanti, the students wing of the Aam Aadmi Party, Chhatra Yuva Sangarsh Samiti -CYSS today held a Tiranga March in the Delhi University campus to mark the birth anniversary of freedom fighter and revolutionary.

Addressing the students gathered on the occasion, Delhi unit head of Aam Aadmi Party Dilip Pandey told the young men and women that it was high time for a change in the supremacy of money power and muscle power in Delhi University politics. “Students politics in the country is looking clean alternative and are looking ahead to student leaders who are selfless and dedicated to the cause of the nation,” he added.

“Students marched today in thousands to pay our salutations to the honour and memory of martyr and the hero of our freedom struggle Shaheed Rajguru. His life inspires us and calls us to work selflessly for the cause of the motherland,” Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti Delhi unit head Anupam said talking on the occasion.

Through this march and show of strength CYSS intends to draw the attention of the authorities towards the basic rights and duties of the students in our society. Delhi University authorities have been apprised about the needs of better quality of education and other basic amenities like safe hostels for students, who are the leaders of tomorrow, Anupam, Delhi CYSS head said.

Student politics has become synonymous with big money, violence and disinterest in student welfare, CYSS has resolved to change it all.
