New order of discom irks Noida Inc

Industries have opposed the Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) order which has made it mandatory for new units installing equipment for electricity connections via the ‘supervision charge’ scheme to get the Meerut zone office’s permission.

The zonal office of the discom issued an order in January whereby its Noida office no longer remained the competent authority to facilitate the scheme.
