New power plant to come up for Delhi, Noida

In order to meet the increasing power demand of Delhi and Noida, UP State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) is looking to construct a new power generation unit in Khurja.

UPSIDC has entered into an agreement with Tehri Hydropower Development Corporation (THDC) for transfer of land to construct a 1,320MW power generation unit in Khurja.
