Wellington, Dec 5: New Zealand’s popular Prime Minister John Key stepped down from his post today, sending shockwaves across political circles of the nation. Key was known as one of the politicians who stemmed to power after exhibiting anti-politician credentials. He created euphoria among the politically conscious citizens of the nation by profession a brand of politics which was anti-mainstream. However, Key decided to quit on Monday, after 8 years of being in power. He cited his decision to return back to his family life.
