NGT asks UP govt for list of sand miners in district

The National Green Tribunal on Wednesday directed the UP government to submit the complete list of leases and licences issued in the last 10 years for sand mining in Gautam Budh Nagar. Notices were also issued by the tribunal to offenders who have been apprehended by police for indulging in illegal sand mining in the district
