Speaking on GST Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today said, “GST will increase tax collections. More tax generation means more budget for different ministries which will result in more development”.
Focusing on GST being a simplified law he said, “17 tax and 22 cess are being abolished by implementation of GST”.
Talking of Make in India under GST he said, “I wish that Indian companies grow rapidly and fairly. Make in India and Made in India is something this government entirely supports. GST is also in synchronization with this concept.GST portal is working fine. Sixty five to seventy Lakh people have already registered”.
“GST is the biggest economic reform of India. It is in national interest”, Nitin Gadkari concluded.
