No consensus over President’s candidature till now: Ghulam Nabi Azad, Congress leader

No consensus were made regarding the Presidential election during the Friday morning meeting between Union ministers Rajnath Singh, M Venkaiah Naidu and Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
Singh and Naidu went to Gandhi’s 10 Janpath residence to form a united alliance on the crucial election scheduled for tomorrow. The meeting lasted for 30 minutes.
Senior Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mallikarjun Kharge were also present in the meeting and told media, BJP asked Congress to suggest a candidate for President’s election, however no consensus has been made till now, they added.
