Uttar Pradesh (03/02/2022): UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Thursday attacked all his incumbents and blamed them for not doing enough during last year’s to help Uttar Pradesh’s economy.
“UP’s economy from 1947-2017 was at 6th, 7th spot (in the country). No work done in 70 years. But in merely 5 years, we have successfully helped UP economy reach the 2nd spot,” he said.
He also outlined the good work done by his government during first and second wave of Covid-19.
“In the 2nd wave we set up over 551 oxygen plants in view of oxygen crisis. We have also managed to successfully contain the third wave. Active cases in the state have reduced by about 60,000 in the last 15 days. Over a lakh cases reported on 17 Jan, today it’s about 41,000,” said UP CM.
Yogi Adityanath’s remarks come amid SP chief Akhilesh Yadav’s constant blame game of taking all credit for development projects and calling out incumbent CM for only inaugurating work done him during his tenure.
