Noida autorickshaw union calls strike on January 12

The auto union of Noida has threatened to paralyse the city on January 12 by holding a strike in demand of interstate permits for UP-registered autos. The union is demanding NCR permits for 5,500 Noida-registered autos that bear UP-16 as their serial registration numbers. This demand has been raised by the union following the declaration of the Aam Aadmi Party government last week that 5,500 autos registered in Delhi would be allowed to ply across NCR on basis of a single permit.
