Noida, Ghaziabad police fail to check beacon usage

Despite Supreme Court guidelines, Noida and Ghaziabad police have failed to check and crack down on violators using red beacons on their vehicles with impunity. When asked about inaction on offenders, police and transport department said there is no clarity on the issue as no order has been passed by Uttar Pradesh DGP on red beacon use.
