Noida metro will be operational from January 26, confirms Managing Director NMRC, Alok Tandon

Noida: Noida Metro Rail Corporation, Managing director, IAS Alok Tandon confirms that the Metro service will be operational from tomorrow.

Metro route from Noida sector 51 to Noida depot will be operational from January 26.

The metro service will begin from 10 am and will be accessible till 5 pm in the evening for January 26.

The transport service will be available from 6 am in the morning to 10 pm in the night from Monday to Saturday, while on Sunday the service will begin in 8 am.

This 21-line corridor will ease the commuters travelling from Noida to Greater Noida, among the 21 stations, 15 stations are in Noida while 6 are in Noida.

Metro trains running on this route will have four coaches which will be increased as the number of daily commuters will increase.

The metro authority had already announced the fares in December 2018, the fare will lie down between Rs. 9 to Rs. 50.
