#NotInMyName: Massive protest demonstration against mob lynchings held at Jantar Mantar

NEW DELHI : A huge protest demonstration against the mob lynching in the country is being held at Jantar Mantar this evening.

The protest #NotInMyName is held against the lynching of Muslims across the country.

“They are ruthlessly killing people just because they follow a different faith. A fear psychosis has taken over the entire country. And there is no word from government on the issue. It seems like the present government is extending a covert support and encouraging the mob mentality,” said a protestor, Mohit.

Ravish Kumar, Senior Journalist went to the protesters and asked them about the recent issues on mob lynching.He concluded that, there is a great anger among the people, need to be sorted out at the earliest.

The protest saw a huge participation of journalists, professors, columnists and students from across the country to condemn the acts of violence in the country.
