Now, 3 cars stolen in Greater Noida P-3 sector

Three days after armed thieves made off with eight car batteries, residents of Sector P-3 woke up on Saturday to find three cars missing from the parking area. Another car that was purportedly stolen was found abandoned at a distance.

Shiv Kumar, a resident whose car was stolen on Friday night, said he had parked his Hyundai Santro in front of his house. “The vehicle had a central lock and I felt it was safe. Before going to bed I saw the car. In the morning when I woke up, the car was missing,” he said. Kumar searched for his car in the neighbourhood and learnt from his neighbours that their cars too had gone missing from the designated parking area.
