Nritya Pravaha 2018: A delightful magical evening of Oddisi Dance mesmerizes audience in Delhi

New Delhi :– Vaishali Kala Kendra in collaboration with Gunjan Dance Academy, Odisha on Friday organised a grand event named ‘Nritya Pravaha 2018’ at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

The beautiful evening witnessed a mesmerizing flow of Indian classical dance form. The highlight of the evening remained a specially choreographed dance performance by acclaimed classical dancer and dance teacher Jyoti Shrivastava. She along with her disciples left everyone mesmerized and asking for more.

Sandeep Marwah, Director of Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) and Asian School of Media Studies graced the evening as the chief guest. Guest of honors Alexandre Ziegler, French Ambassador to India ,,Gajanan Mali , Founder , Ten News Network , Bharat Gauba also enjoyed the performances and applauded the efforts of the organizers.

The evening was also graced by many eminent personalities including Jatin Das, Avinash , Viresh Tiwari , Mahesh Saxena, Pasricha among others.

The classical music lovers witnessed the performances by Jyoti Shrivastava and Meera Das renowned performers of Odissi dance style. They along with their well trained disciples presented various complex and expressive dance forms.

Jyoti Shrivastava has cultivated a life long devotion to Indian classical dance Odissi. She has been imparting training to a large number of learner’s through her Noida based institute Vaishali Kala Kendra . It is one of the leading dance institute imparting Odissi and other forms of classical dance forms . Through the vigorous training she has nurtured and propagated the classical art of dance to hundreds of devoted disciples.

The other star performer, Meera Das also received great acclaim from audiences for her authentic renderings of the great Indian classical dance, Oddisi. Being a professional dancer for over two decades, she has paved the way for her success with her tireless venture and dedication.

The Highlight of the evening, which stole the show was, A fluid flow of the magic ‘GANGA’ with a special design conceptualised by watching GANGA flow by Jyoti at Rishikesh on the bank. The sound effects were superb and added special effects to present deep emotions of Lord Shiva – Rahul Varshney . cutting-edge choreography . This special presentation by her five disciples left audience mesmerized and captivated.

The brilliant dance presentations were followed by felicitation of the Chief Guest, Guest Of Honours Artists , Make up artists, Light & Sound Engineers .
