NSA Ajit Doval given the responsibility to stop Delhi violence

New Delhi (26/02/2020): National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has been given the responsibility to stop the violence spreading in the North-Eastern region of Delhi. With this, the Delhi Police has been given complete exemption to overcome the situation.

According to government sources, “National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has been entrusted with the responsibility of controlling the incidents of violence in Delhi. He will brief the Prime Minister and the Union Cabinet about the situation. NSA has on Tuesday night, visited Jaffarabad, Seelampur and other areas of north-east Delhi, where he also interacted with leaders of various sects. It has been clarified that law and order will not be allowed to be breached in the national capital and sufficient number of police forces and paramilitary forces have been deployed by now.

Let us inform you, amidst the tense situation in Delhi, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval went to the DCP office of North-East Delhi to get information about the current situation of violence. In addition, he also visited the violence-prone areas. Before his visit to the area, Ajit Doval also held a late evening meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah where newly appointed Special Commissioner of Delhi SN Srivastava was also present. This was Amit Shah’s third meeting in 24 hours about Delhi Violence.

According to the information, in this meeting important steps were taken to normalize the conditions of the capital.
