“Cancer can bring down people on their knees; with care and support we can bring these people back on their feet”, said Gurgaon Circle of Moms founder Shruti Mittal.

Moms from NoidaMoms and Gurgaon Circle of Moms performed a nukkad natak called “Zimmedari Kisski” on the second day of the event. “We moms are for wellness always. We are excited to perform anukkad natak at Festival of Hope based on the theme of cancer survivors highlighting importance of awareness, early detection, fighting spirit, survival & life beyond…”, said NoidaMoms Shavi Gupta.

The play enacted life of a young fitness freak reporter who is shocked to learn about her cancer while screening. Heavens broke loose… Her life fell apart, she kept asking “mujhe cancer kase ho sakta hai?” (how can I contract cancer?) Until friends, family and society came together to give her the required courage to step up to the challenge. She start saying “main bhi cancer ko hara dungi” (I can also defeat cancer)… the play was performed by Shruti Mittal, Shavi Gupta, Anamika Gautum, Rupa Gupta, Manisha Gupta and Neelam Mehrotra.
