Olympic Medalist Abhinav Bindra plans to take Wrestling to next level

During the launch of K D Jadhav Memorial Kushti Championship in New Delhi on Friday, Olympic Gold Medalist outlined his plan and vision to take the sport to the next level.

“This is a truly momentous day for Indian sport. There couldn’t have been a better way to pay our respects to our country’s first Olympic Gold Medalist K D Jadhav,” said Abhinav Bindra.

Being an admirer of K D Jadhav, Abhinav Bindra, he further said that “we have many talented wrestlers and we will provide them the platform to help graduate to the next level”.

The first memorial Championship will take place on September 15 at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi including female wrestling and would be broadcasted on Doordarshan.
