One Year Extension to the 6500 Delhi Home Guard Volunteers by LG Najeeb Jung

Dr. Udit Raj is thankful to Lieutenant General Najeeb Jung for helping Delhi home guard volunteers in getting their job extension for a year. There are about 6500 people who would have become jobless if they were left alone. Six years back they were recruited as volunteers and their tenure ended in the month of March this year. These are the people who have given their six years in guarding the city.  As a group of home guards came to Dr. Udit Raj, he encountered that every time when the government recruits and trains Delhi home guards it spends a lot of money. He was told by these home guards that there is a lot of corruption whenever there is a fresh recruitment.

With the help Dr. Udit Raj, these home guards have done their best in getting this extension; to name a few Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Mr. Krishan Kumar (9250107415), Mr. Karanveer (9136395745) were among them.

These home guards will surely prove as a benefit to the city as Delhi is going to need more policing during the elections.
