New Delhi, December 30, 2022: Indian player Rishabh Pant was saved by a local motorist after being involved in a terrible car accident on Friday morning.

The driver made sure that the cricketer was safely moved out of the burning vehicle. Pant, 25, managed to avoid any serious injuries and is now receiving treatment at the Max Hospital in Dehradun. Pant’s Mercedes-AMG GLE43 Coupe reportedly hit the divider after hitting the speed limit as Pant was obviously dozing off.

Fortunately, the driver, who goes by the name of Susheel Kumar, was present when the collision occurred and he quickly rescued the batsman.

Susheel claimed that he was travelling from Haridwar to Haryana on the opposite side of the road when he witnessed Pant’s car colliding and being pushed to the opposite side of the road by the force of the incident. More crucially, Susheel had foreseen the car’s impending fire and assisted Pant in crossing the street safely.

Susheel went on to say that until the cricketer revealed Pant’s identify to him, he was unaware of it, as he doesn’t watches cricket much.

Susheel, however, did what was necessary at the time and called the ambulance without caring about making movies, wasting time, or anything else. Even Pant’s mother’s phone number was unreachable, he claimed. However, just in time, an ambulance arrived to transport him to a neighboring hospital. Susheel and a few other villagers jumped to save the day even though Pant was in bad physical condition, with blood streaming from his face and scratches all over his body.
