“Patriotic Song Competition” held in Jesus and Mary convent school, Gr. Noida
In order to exhibit high order of gratitude and respect towards India and other nations of world, Jesus and Mary Convent School, Gr. Noida organized an Interschool Patriotic Group Song Competition on 13th August 2015.
The programme was commenced with various traditional Indian regional songs mesmerized the listeners and filled the atmosphere with the feeling of nationalism, while on the other hand patriotic songs of other countries imparted and understanding how patriotism is looked at by other countries.
This programme gave an opportunity to the students to learn the patriotic in other languages as well. All the students participated and performed with utmost gusto and the spirit of patriotism really came true.
After the performance Principal of school Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kollithanam encouraged and congratulated all the participants by stating that patriotism showed by any country is same all over the world and therefore should be equally respected. He also inspired the children to take the path of universal brotherhood and peace.
