PhysicsWallah to invest ₹100cr in its UPSC Branch

New Delhi (India), 10th May 2023: Physics Wallah, an ed-tech platform, has announced plans to invest Rs 100 crore in developing its UPSC vertical and has opened the first UPSC test preparation centre in the Rajinder Nagar region of Delhi.

The edtech startup will use the funds to expand its UPSC services for both the online (UPSC Wallah) and offline (PWOnlyIAS) segments, with the goal of training over 3 lakh aspirants over the next three years.

Alakh Panday, the founder and CEO of Physics Wallah said, “At PWONLYIAS, we are not just creating another coaching centre; we are building a community of dedicated and passionate learners who are determined to achieve their goals.”

PWOnlyIAS intends to open over ten offline sites over the next three years, including locations in Jaipur, Allahabad, Patna, Lucknow, Indore, and Pune.

Furthermore, PWOnlyIAS is bringing state PCS courses online and has released premium and free courses in Hindi and Hinglish for Bihar (BPSC), Uttar Pradesh (UPSSC), Madhya Pradesh (MPPSC), and Maharashtra (MPSC).

Sumit Rewari, CEO, PWOnlyIAS said, “We are dedicated to expanding the reach of PWOnlyIAS to every corner of India, ensuring that no deserving aspirant is left behind. Over the next three years, we aim to capture a 20 per cent market share of PW UPSC aspirants.”

PWOnlyIAS has created a one-of-a-kind CTR-led course for both online and offline modes that incorporates features such as smart revision, progress tracking, concept clarity courses, doubt-solving sessions, and pen-holding sessions for answer writing to assist aspirants in excelling in competitive exams.

The corporation has also hired 50 experienced faculty members to participate in the faculty training programme (FTP).

PW currently has over 23 million YouTube subscribers over 48 channels and over 10 million app downloads with a 4.5 rating on Google Play.
