New Delhi, 23 December: Manish Sisodia, Deputy CM, Delhi on Thursday said that the Delhi govt is going to organize a musical play on the life of BR Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.
The event will begin from 5th January. Daily two shows will be held at 5 PM & 8 PM. A total of 50 shows will be held. Tickets for the shows will be free but online pre-booking will be required.
Sisodia said the life and legacy of Babasaheb Ambedkar will be portrayed through this musical play and the theme song of it by the Indian Ocean band has already been released.
He claimed that this show will perhaps be the ”biggest” event of its kind on a leading public personality in the country.
The aim of the play is to edify or spread the teachings of Ambedkar and to enlighten everyone with his inspiring life.
BR Ambedkar was the first law minister after India’s Independence and was the chairman of the committee for drafting the constitution.
He also fought economic and social discrimination against the Dalits.
