“Pledged to take more initiatives for the safety of women”: BS Bassi, at press conference New Delhi

p.1NEW DELHI- Today at National Habitat Centre Annual Press Conference was organized by Delhi Police. All the staff of police along with media was present there. Senior Police officers presented their past projects and also revealed their initiative for the welfare of public.

They emphasized on Smart Policing, Zero tolerance against corruption, People- friendly & Responsive and transparent Policing, Neighborhood Watch – Community involvement, Safety of Women, Anti- Terrorist Measures, Tracking street crime- Higher visibility of police,  Thrust on registration of crime, Traffic regulation and road safety and Special efforts for tracing missing children.

Police Commissioner BS Bassi shared “I appreciate the initiative “Swachch Bharat Abhiyan” started by Honorable Prime Minister Modi ji and took pledge to take it forward to keep our India clean and green. Previously we launched apps like Lost Report App, Traffic Police Mobile App, Police Clearance Certificate and recently “Himmat”. “Himmat” app step took by Modi ji launched by Home Minister Rajnath Singh. This app is for safety of women; simply you have to download from Google play and fill all the requirement details for the registration. Our resolution for this year is to make India crime free. We will put our entire Endeavour to make Delhi as a safe zone.”

Delhi Police focused for installation of CCTV Cameras at Border Check Posts, important markets, courts etc. They sustained action against drunken driving. Steps are also taken for handling of missing children cases, Care of Senior Citizens and many more.

They appreciated media for their work and asked them to support to endorse their plans.
