PM #NarendraModi visits First Launch Pad and GSLV Vehicle Assembly Building in Sriharikota

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today visited the First Launch Pad at Sriharikota. He was briefed about the PSLV C-23 Launch Vehicle Mission by senior scientists.
The Prime Minister also visited the GSLV-Mk III Vehicle Assembly Building and was briefed there by senior scientists.
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Venkaiah Naidu, and the Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Shri Jitendra Singh, were also present.
Earlier, Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, Chairman, ISRO, gave a brief presentation to Shri Narendra Modi on India’s space programme, in the presence of senior scientists.
