POLICE VERSION ON BLAST IN FATEHABAD IN HARYANA

Official press note by police regarding blast in bus at Fatehabad Haryana

1. Today at 10.42 am, in a private bus HR 62 8372 plying from Jakhal to Fatehabad, explosion took place. The place of incidence is on Bhuna-Fatehabad Road, about 4 km from Bhuna, 20 km from Fatehabad.

2. The explosive device was in a black bag. Preliminary examination by authority has revealed use of sulphur-like substance, commonly used in crackers.

3. In the incident, Bhagirath about 45 years and his wife Rajbala, about 40 years have suffered minor burnt injury. The two are out of danger and are being treated in Civil Hospital, Fatehabad hospital.

Senior police officers along with Bomb Disposal Squad and Crime Scene Team have reached the spot and are investigating the incident.
