New Delhi (10/04/2022): In a live discussion, ‘Soch se Safalta Tak’, hosted by Rudresh Pandey, Director GNIOT, the guest speaker Vaibhav Pandey, a motivational speaker and TV personality discussed the problems faced by students owing to the covid lockdown.

This discussion starts with the transformative stage of the pandemic, illustrating how the students were forced to attend classes from their homes devoid of human interaction. However, with the reopening of the educational institutions students are now undergoing mental trauma and anxiety as it would result in more human interaction in the brick and mortar classrooms and uncertainty in terms of offline examinations.

Vaibhav Pandey optimistically emphasises that although there are several problems associated with increased screen time and human isolation, it has also led to students becoming technologically competent, he added.

The panel members believe that there is a positive hope for the future. Along with a growing possibility of an upcoming covid wave, the country is well-prepared than the superpowers of the world to combat it economically. However, the consistency and focus of students towards their education was frequently disrupted. Vaibhav Pandey advises the students that although technology is quite important, it should be used cautiously. In order to build back focus, students should slowly try to reduce their screen time.

“All the educational institutions should keep at least one class online. With a ratio of 75% offline class and 25% online classes a balance can be maintained, stated Vaibhav Pandey.

Apart from a balanced classroom atmosphere, students should also be subject to a peaceful house environment. Vaibhav Pandey believes that students need to face negatives at their homes, it will only help them to face rejections and deal with depression at their own level. They need to be motivated enough to achieve their goals that their response to depressing situations will change.

At the end of the discussion, Vaibhav Pandey stated that confidence is the key. With confidence, it becomes easier to tackle your fear and move forward to a brighter future.
