Poster launch of ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ turned into a glitzy event at Dusit Devarana
A starry night it was, when queen Kangana celebrated her 28th birthday at the poster launch of her upcoming movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ at Dusit Devarana, Delhi with beautiful arrangements under marriage theme for ‘Tanu bhabhi’ and ‘Manu bhaiyya’ where all the artists from the movie from ‘Pappi ji’ to ‘Payal’ were present.. Dressed in a green and yellow colored crop top and long skirt, Kangana looked absolutely stunning while cutting the two-tier cake. Finally the motion poster was disclosed by the whole team where Kangana was seen in a double role; on one side of innocent Madhavan (who was dressed as a groom) was Kangana as a graceful bride & on the other side was the tomboyish Kangana.
The whole event was no less than a wedding ceremony where even the baratis were seen enjoying to their fullest at the after-party. Among the baratis were Manish Malhotra, Krishika Lulla, Anand L.Rai, Jimmy Shergill, Swara Bhaskar, Eijaz Khan, Mika and many more.
On being asked if Kangana would attend the National Awards on the next day if she receives one, Kangana said, “Though I am not fond of attending award ceremonies but as the event will be in Delhi itself I might attend it.” To her surprise came a lovely gift when she received a national award for an outstanding performance in Queen.
Well, the lady can’t get a better birthday gift than this.
Kangana after giving string of successes with movies like ‘Queen’ and ‘Revolver Rani’, is all set with her first release of 2015 with ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ hitting the theatres on 29th May. The story is taken forward where it was ended and with almost the same characters from the prequel, and with Kangana in double role (that of a simple girl and the other of an athlete), this romantic comedy is surely something to watch out for.
