Power tariff for industry not to be hiked

 The Noida Entrepreneurs Association (NEA) ended its hunger strike against the proposed 35% hike in power tariff for the industry sector after most of their demands were conceded by authorities on Wednesday.

What was meant to be a daylong strike began at 8.30am on Wednesday at Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (PVVNL)’s superintending engineer Arvind Rajvedi’s office in Sector 16, and ended in four hours by 12.30pm.
